Boxing: Come and hit it!

Our battle-tested coaches will put you through the paces of a professional boxer’s workout as if you are training for a shot at the title! Utilize heavy bags, speed bags, gloves, jump ropes and more in this high intense workout which is guaranteed to give you a calorie burning great workout!  Boxing relieves stress, builds cardio endurance and tone muscles. Zero amount of boxing experience needed.

Bob Fedus began training in 1984 at the Universal life Gym under the tutelage of Rollie Pier (CT Boxing Hall of Fame Member) as a member of USA Boxing where he fought as a heavyweight and compiled an 11-1 record in a stable that included Troy “Schoolboy” Wortham (WBC #1 Middleweight Contender),  Marlon Starling (2 time Welterweight World Champion) and Tyrone Booze (World Cruiserweight champion) with whom he served as sparring partner.

Bob completed his amateur career as finalist in the 2004 Ringside World Tournament in Kansas City as a Super Heavyweight in the Masters Division earning a #1 World Ranking. Today, Bob lives in Pembroke MA but continues to train and work with amateur fighters today at several gyms throughout CT and MA, most recently at The Strike Zone MMA and Boxing Gym in New London CT.

Shaun Creegan originally from Lowell he has been involved in boxing nearly his whole life. His father was a professional boxer boasting an undefeated record and also served as a referee. A veteran of over 30 amateur fights he was a 2 time winner of Lowell Golden Gloves tournament in the super middleweight division. As a professional with 21 fights to his credit, Shaun’s record stands at 16 wins, 2 losses and 3 draws. Since his retirement from boxing, Shaun has remained busy training amateur and professional boxers in Ct, Ma and RI.
