Norwell Athletic Club offers both Mat and Reformer Pilates options. Each class focuses on proper posture, breathing, and muscle engagement so that you get the maximum benefit from your time on the mat or at the barre. Strength, flexibility and coordination are key components in an effective Pilates Program. Posture, balance, core strength and lung capacity are all greatly increased. Bone density and joint health improve, and many experience body awareness for the first time.
